Is there a Rapture in revelations?
I believe there are two raptures, here is the good one.

Revelation 1

7 Look, he is coming with the clouds,
      and every eye will see him,
   even those who pierced him;
      and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

Why do I belive that this is the rapture in Revelations? The accounts of "The day of the Lord" can only be applied if at this moment the rapture occurs. There is a second rapture that happens later on Revelations but that one cannot account for all the statements in the Bible about it. As Christians we are supposed to be happy about "The day of the Lord" but we cannot if it requires us to endure the wrath of God.

2 Corinthians:14 as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Why boast on enduring the wrath of God.

Luke 17:31 On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.

Luke 17:34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.

This tells us that in one second believer and non-beliver will see and recognize the Christ and will be picked up or left.

I Thessalonians 4:16-17 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

He is also coming to get the dead is Christ only, the others will be judged later in Revelations.

I Corinthians 15: 51 "Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

We are given a new incorruptable body. Just like the one Jesus had, able to eat, and walk thru wall.

Matthew 13:47-49 "Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous

The good fish "us" will be picked up first, then the second rapture to come later.
